Many popular adult visual novels and RPGs are developed exclusively for Windows PC because full game files and high-definition CG animations are often too large for native Android APK compilation. Fortunately, Android users can play almost any PC visual novel directly on their phone or tablet using JoiPlay and the Ren’Py plugin with full touch controls and HD rendering.
Download & Unpack the PC Version
Download the standard Windows (PC) build of the visual novel from our website. Using an archive tool on Android (such as ZArchiver or RAR from the Google Play Store), extract the downloaded .zip, .7z, or .rar into an easily accessible folder on your phone (e.g. Internal Storage/Games/).
Install JoiPlay & the Ren’Py Plugin
To emulate Ren’Py and RPG Maker game engines on Android, download and install the following two apps:
- JoiPlay App: Available on the Google Play Store or via official GitHub/Patreon releases.
- Ren’Py Plugin for JoiPlay: Required to parse
.rpaand.rpycscripts. - RPG Maker Plugin for JoiPlay:(Optional) If you plan on playing RPG Maker MV/MZ adult games.
Add the Game to JoiPlay
- Launch the JoiPlay app on your Android device.
- Tap the “+” (Add Game) button in the bottom right corner of the screen.
- Enter the Game Name, version, and optionally pick an icon image from the game directory.
- Under “Executable File”, tap Choose and navigate to your unpacked game folder.
- Select the primary game executable (e.g.,
GameName.exeorgame.py) and tap Choose. - Tap Add to finalize adding the game to your JoiPlay home library.
Launch & Enjoy with Full Touch Controls
Tap the game icon on your JoiPlay screen. The visual novel will boot into full screen. You can tap the screen to advance dialogue, swipe with two fingers to access the game menu, or bring up on-screen virtual gamepads for RPG Maker titles.
